Chief Performance Officer
Suzanne has over twenty years of experience in marketing and management of continuing care retirement communities. Her operational experience continues to spearhead the growth and development of Agapé Senior services throughout the state. Suzanne is uniquely qualified to serve as CPO, having served as administrator for most of the Agapé Senior assisted living facilities throughout the state. Suzanne brings invaluable knowledge of the senior-care industry to the table. In her role, she has been instrumental in establishing and maintaining the standards of Agapé Senior including the highest census and profit ratios for the facilities. She truly understands the importance of delivering outstanding service and care for the residents.
Dr. James C. Williamson
Chief Human Capital Officer
College President, University Trustee, Author, Publisher, Professor, Civic Club Governor, Chamber of Commerce Chairman, School Board Chairman, Church Leader, and one of the most highly recognized experts in the growing field of care for the elderly. Dr. James C. “Jimmie” Williamson is all of these and more.
A native of Hartsville, SC he is the Chief Human Capital Officer which oversees Human Resources for Agape Senior – the largest company in South Carolina dealing with elder care services with 2,220 patients and residents. Williamson also manages Agape University which trains Agape’s 2,000 employees in dozens of disciples that expand and enhance their professionalism.
Dr. Williamson was involved in higher education for 26 years as president of Northeastern Technical College and Williamsburg Technical College and as a faculty member and administrator at four community colleges and three universities in South Carolina.
He is the co-author of a popular textbook for underprepared college students. Dr. Williamson also received the prestigious South Carolina Governor’s award for Two-Year College Educational Champion of the Year. He serves as a member of the Residential Care/Assisted Living Exam Committee for the National Association of Long-term Care Boards (NAB).
Dr. Williamson holds a Bachelor’s of Visual Arts and a Master’s Degree in Education from Winthrop University. His PhD is in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina.
He has served as Assistant District Governor of Rotary International and as Chairman of the Greater Cheraw Chamber of Commerce and various economic development boards throughout the state. He is a member of the Chesterfield County School Board and has been honored by Winthrop University with the Professional Achievement Award and was named Citizen of the Year by the Williamsburg Hometown Chamber of Commerce.
Chief Operating Officer
Theresa Younis is the President and Chief Operations Officer of Agape Senior, the premiere senior healthcare organization in South Carolina. Since taking the helm as COO in 2010 she has led Agape Senior to the position as the largest provider of hospice and GIP in the state. She joined Agape senior in 2001 pioneering the exponential growth, innovation, expansion, integration of services, and faith based approach that has empowered its 2,500 members to provide a vast array of services to more than 50,000 residents and patients in Agape Senior's post-acute care facilities, assisted livings, hospices, and through its Primary Care Practice.
Theresa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1985, and received the Josephine Fogel Award which honors graduates who exemplify the best in nursing skills and empathy. She has 28 years of experience inspiring excellence in geriatric, hospice and palliative care. She has a wealth of clinical, practical and administrative expertise in post-acute care, physician practices, palliative care, hospice, and assisted living.
She serves in the SC community as a frequently called upon expert witness for attorneys defending nursing home litigations, and providing preventive and post-incident oversight and support. She currently serves as the Board Chair for The Carolinas Center for Hospice and End of Life Care. She has served as the non-proprietary representative to the American Health Care Association Quality Committee, on the Education, Medicare and Ombudsman Committees for The South Carolina Health Care Association, the Education Committee of the South Carolina Leading Age Education Committee; and was Vice-Chair to The Lowcountry Workforce Investment Board.
Danny E. Belk
President, Agapé Development
Dan is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all property and project development functions as well as overall direction of financial strategy for Agapé Senior companies. Mr. Belk is accountable for the fiscal viability of all Agapé entities and also provides guidance and oversight for ancillary operations. His extensive experience in finance, accounting, and facility operations provides Agapé Senior with a sure foundation of fiscal integrity.
