EXIT Agapé Real Estate Services focuses on the housing and real estate needs of those in the senior community as well as the general public. The staff at EXIT Agapé has developed a very definite expertise in finding ways to work with home owners who, over the course of time, find themselves living in outdated, deteriorating, or otherwise “market-challenged” homes. EXIT Agapé has a proven track record of successfully remodeling or re-inventing older homes as well as seeing possibilities that are not immediately apparent to the average home buyer.

The professional and responsive staff at EXIT Agapé is committed to providing the best possible exposure for their clients. A major component of this exposure is a thorough knowledge of internet functionality and capabilities, including search engine optimization. This knowledge is accompanied by a comprehensive internet marketing strategy.

EXIT Agapé is always eager to assist in creating solutions for transitioning into smaller and more manageable residences. As a part of the Agapé Senior group of companies and services, EXIT Agapé is in a unique position to offer expertise and assistance for many types of transition. When and if a transition from an EXIT Agapé property to an assisted living facility is needed, we provide two attractive options: a price-based buy-back option, or the opportunity to move into an Agapé facility before the home is sold.

EXIT Agapé is currently marketing a patio home community, Agapé Village, in West Columbia, South Carolina. Agapé Village is a gated community designed to meet the needs of residents who desire to downsize to a more carefree and manageable lifestyle.

EXIT Agapé: South Carolina’s Senior Real Estate Specialists

Our brokerage’s expertise in the senior market is based on experience. We have worked with hundreds of senior clients and customers over the last three years. We have discovered that the senior client brings a different set of concerns to the table when considering buying or selling real estate. Security, finances, independence, and downsizing seem to be the most prevalent.

Security is a major concern with most seniors considering a move. They may have recently lost a spouse, and are not used to living alone. They may have some health condition that makes them feel vulnerable. Sometimes their neighborhood has deteriorated and they no longer feel safe. These are all valid concerns that we take into consideration when we talk with the senior about a move.

Finances are also a concern for anyone involved in a real estate transaction. The typical senior client is wary to take on debt. Our experience is that most senior clients wish to transfer current equity into new homes. We have many associates in the financial field who are very familiar with such arrangements.

Independence is important to the senior client. Finding the best solution to keeping the person independent in a safe environment is the goal. Our company has a wealth of experience in helping seniors make informed decisions regarding living options.

Downsizing can be an overwhelming and daunting task for many seniors and the process is frequently fraught with emotional distress. We offer suggestions and solutions based on our previous experience in this area. Sometimes we will suggest that the client talk with someone who has previously gone through the process. Being sensitive to the problem is also very important. Homes and personal belongings have sentimental value and an accompanying host of memories.
